As Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden got elected as the 46th President, and Kamala Harris, the first woman and 49th Vice President of the United States, in an intense voting battleground, many Bollywood personalities shared their joy.

Sharing a childhood picture of Harris, in a lengthy post, Masaba wrote, “You know when i was little & started to understand more about my ethnicity… the fact that I was a mixed child..half Caribbean & half Indian,I thought I was the only one of my kind.I used to think wow, masaba there possibly can’t be more like you out there. But today I see @kamalaharris & I know different is so good. It’s so good that if you keep your chin up & work hard enough to break out of the color, skin, race box they put you in… you might just make history (sic).”

Kamala Harris has become the first woman, first Black American and first Asian American to win the second highest US office.

Economic package announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

In his fifth address to the nation on Covid-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an economic package to “make India self-reliant” signaling that the government has shifted its coronavirus strategy from “survival” to “revival” mode. The details of the economic package will be unveiled in days to come.

PM Modi said if the latest package is added to the economic package announced recently by the government in the wake of Covid-19 crisis and the decisions taken by the RBI, “today’s package totals to Rs 20 lakh crore.”

What is Health Insurance?

Health insurance is an agreement whereby insurance company agrees to undertake a guarantee of compensation for medical expenses in case the insured falls ill or meets with an accident which leads to hospitalisation of the insured. Generally, insurance companies have tie-ups with the leading hospitals so as to provide cashless treatment to the insured. In case the insurance company has no tie-ups with the hospital, they reimburse the cost of expenses incurred by the insured. The government also promotes health insurance by providing a deduction from income tax.
